Christmas Party Hire

Thames sailing barges available for Christmas Party Hire and Xmas group bookings at Ipswich (SB Thistle) and at Maldon (SB Hydrogen)

The hire of the vessel will be exclusive to your group and the price includes decorations and background music, from Christmas carols to lively dancing party tapes. We can book a disco or live music if required.

All the food is homemade and cooked freshly on board.

Thistle Xmas Ipswich

The Thistle was built in 1895, her centrally heated saloon providing a high quality, spacious and memorable venue for a party. She can seat up to 42 for lunch or dinner and 70 for a buffet. Thistle will be moored outside Ipswich's historic Old Customs House for Christmas.

You could also include a river sail for up to 50 guests from £12 per head, please ring for further details.

Hydrogen Xmas Maldon

The Hydrogen was built in 1906, her centrally heated saloon providing a high quality, spacious and memorable venue for a party. She can seat up to 48 for lunch or dinner and 80 for a buffet. Hydrogen will be moored at Maldon's historic Hythe Quay for Christmas.
